About Andy
Andy Fleming is a Canadian missionary with deep roots in the Churches of Christ (acapella). He graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BSc in Christian Missions in 1979 and served in Papua New Guinea. In 1982, he was introduced to the Boston Church of Christ and and within a year moved to Boston for further training. Andy began to serve as a minister with the International Churches of Christ in January 1984. Andy and his wife Tammy, whom he met in Boston, have served in various locations including Scandinavia, the UK, Los Angeles, and the former Soviet Union. They currently split their time between Kyiv, Ukraine, and East London, England. From 1991 to 1999, they oversaw the planting of 24 new congregations in the former Soviet Union, with the Moscow and Kiev congregations now having approximately 1500 members each. Andy is involved in the ICOC Teachers’ Service Team and contributes to research for evaluating past practices and shaping a healthier future. He holds a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (2018) and is pursuing a DMin in Missional Leadership from Abilene Christian University (2025). Tammy is a certified Advanced Grief Recovery Method® Specialist and has introduced the program to the Russian-speaking world.
